John Elk, III immerses himself in worldwide cultures to give his photographs striking personality and depth. Elk and his wife own a travel stock business that has built a library of 300,000 images from 30 states and more than 50 countries. Elk devotes half of the year to on-location shoots, and once took nearly 2,000 photos in Jordan. Numerous guidebooks, magazines, textbooks and catalogs feature Elk’s perceptive photographs.
