A mystical ambiance fills the people and wildlife in Gosia Gajewska’s soft, glowing artworks. A native of Poland who attended Warsaw’s Academy of Beau Art, Gajewska is fascinated by southern France’s beauty. Inspired by nature and animals, she says, “Animals represent for me all the power of Mother Nature, the strength of our life on Earth.” This philosophy is echoed in her images of elephants, giraffes and zebras cast in the hazy heat of Africa. Gajewska’s work has been exhibited in Paris and throughout Europe.
