Painter Chris Owen is a Montana native and comes from a ranching family that has been carrying on the tradition since 1905. His ranch hand experience provides plenty of inspiration for his striking paintings that romanticize and add to the mystique of the working cowboy. Owen attended Montana State University and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. His work has been included in prestigious Western art shows and auctions.
