Comments: This is one of a trio of pictures that Renoir painted of the same couple. I already had one of those pictures from about 25 years ago but could not find the other two in the same size. When I discovered that AllPosters had those 2 pictures in stock, and in the right size, I was very excited and ordered them immediately. Now, the three pictures are all framed identically and are hanging side by side in the hallway. Every time I go by them, I feel a great happiness as it is wonderful that they are all together and they complement each other perfectly!

Product InformationThis art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability. Art prints are created on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card using a digital or offset lithography press. About the ArtistPierre Auguste Renoir’s (1841 – 1919) art celebrates life’s temporal pleasures, the ‘here and now’ of his time, more than any other Impressionist artist. Preferring to paint his friends and lovers, his masterful depictions of their candid facial features and body stances convey the youthful spirit and intimate charm that ignited the feeling of an Eden of earthly pleasures. His portrayal of luminous color, skillfully varied brushstrokes, nuances of light and shadow all worked together to form a warm sensuality that made him a leader of the Impressionist movement. © AllPosters
